Laser Beams (from my eyes)

I sometimes shoot laser beams from my eyes.  This most often happens when I'm riding my bicycle and fairly regularly when I'm running in the woods.

You who know me may be surprised to learn that the laser beams have little or no practical purpose.  I do not remove obstacles in my path, shoot down ripe cherries from the tops of trees or to amuse the kids.  I do not even smite my enemies with the beams, though they certainly deserve it.

They are more an emanation: an outlet for overflowing exuberance. I try to keep them private. Occasionally, on particularly good days, they burst out when others are around so you may have seen them.

It is easiest to shoot laser beams when I'm well rested, have a tail wind and feel good.  In dire times I may employ the lasers when I'm severely lacking in luster.  It takes a good deal of will at those times.

It is important to cultivate a deep reserve of laser beam power.  Being with my Christopher, our Labradoggy and a very few of my dearest friends and most positive family members feeds this reserve.

Soaking up some laser beam juice near Breitenbush Hot Springs during a mid-week retreat with an amica.  The getaway recharged my laser stores immensely.
