First rule of blogging

The first rule of blogging - don't lose admin privileges to your blog!

I first started this blog back in the pre-gmail days.  Then I got a gmail account and blogspot morphed into "blogger" and was part of the Google dominion.  It was awkward to log-out of iGoogle and back in with my other email, so I set my gmail-self up as a contributor.  At the time I couldn't have more than one administrator and then three years went by and...

Enter this morning when I wanted to change up some of the settings and couldn't.  And realized I wasn't an administrator.  And I realized had no idea what account was the administrator.  It seemed like it might be an old email that no longer exists.  Serious bummer.

But I was able to get things fixed up - which is good 'cause I didn't want to lose the old thing.  And what does this picture have to do with anything I've just said?  Nothing.  I just like it.

Long time no post....

Hi there.  It's been a while.  I've been busy.  And recently been feeling pretty cruddy.  In fact, I positively lost my sparkle for a spell.  And with my sparkle went my inspiration.

But then I finally went to a doctor.  Turns out it wasn't just getting older, seasonal winter blues or all in my head.  Blood tests revealed that I have a complete inability to digest dairy.  So those 5 servings a day of milk, yogurt, keifer, ice cream, goat cheese, cow cheese, sheep cheese, more cheese was dragging me down.  In addition to the tummy troubles it was preventing me from absorbing the good vitamins & nutrients in all those yummy vegetables I like to eat.  So I was severely deficient in Vit D, Vit B, calcium, magnesium and a passel of other things.

But I've been off the cow (and goat and sheep and buffalo and so on) for more than a month and my sparkle has returned!  I'm excited, enthusiastic & inspired again!  Also I seem to have lost my constant headaches, eczema, tummy issues, allergies & asthma.  Stranger correlations to my period of no dairy include an ability to sleep on my back (no acid reflux for the first time in my life!) and no need to see the chiropractor every month.

So I think I'm going to start back with the writing thing again.

Stay tuned!
